The Assistant Manager is a multi‑faceted role that merges business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. Assistant managers drive sales results by analyzing the business and delivering best‑in‑class customer service while overseeing daily store operations, ensuring efficient opening and closing routines, supporting visual merchandising, and maintaining inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing routines.
- Supervise sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and seamless operations.
- Conduct staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
- Train and develop non‑management staff.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
- Build and maintain visual displays.
- Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
- Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
- Operate register / point of sale systems.
- Fulfill omni‑channel orders.
- Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role.
- CEFR B2 fluency in English & French.
- Strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Drive to achieve results and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑building ability and capacity to coach others.
- Take initiative and demonstrate confidence.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks while being detail‑oriented.
- Engage in applied learning and proactive thinking.
