Regional Sales Manager
Overview
Regional Sales Manager at Trojan Technologies, a Veralto company, with responsibility for meeting and exceeding municipal UV treatment sales targets in the UV market. This remote role involves frequent travel and requires strong business acumen, planning, and the ability to execute strategically.
Responsibilities
- Create monthly sales plans to meet targets using customer engagement, value selling, and funnel management.
- Build a strong network of customers and channel partners to promote UV solutions (Trojan UV/Aquafides) in the municipal water sector.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders influencing purchasing decisions.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and opportunities during monthly reviews.
- Engage in sales activities such as site visits, trade shows, demos, and channel management.
- Provide field input for corporate initiatives (e.g., market research, Kaizen, beta testing).
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Track KPIs monthly and implement corrective actions as needed.
Customer Relationship Management
- Lead all municipal product activities for Trojan Technologies.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
- Use CRM to log activities, manage opportunities, and present monthly funnel and forecast reviews.
- Capture Voice of Customer insights to identify new opportunities.
Channel Partner Management
- Execute regional growth strategies with strategic thinking and innovative tactics to drive success.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience or 5+ years in Wastewater or Drinking Water sectors.
- B2B experience selling complex municipal products and solutions.
- Degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental; Engineering is an asset.
- French native, fluent in English.
- Ideally based in the North of France, with ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
