POSITION: Regional Sales Manager – North West France

SECTORS: HVACR, refrigeration, air conditioning, building materials.

Our client is the global leader for mini pumps with the most reliable, installer-friendly and innovative products on the market. As the business has grown, so has its operational footprint with its UK Head Office and manufacturing site; they are also based in France, Germany, Italy, Australia, India, and the USA.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new Regional Sales Manager to be responsible for increasing sales & market share with several key accounts in North West France.

Route to market: Through a wholesaler network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Sales to ensure close management of key wholesalers/distributors.
  • Optimize the breadth of the range & increase market share with existing accounts through merchandising and training (at branch level) & ensure the brand is high profile.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, wholesaler/distributor branch events & sales meetings as required.
  • Monitor stock levels & competitor products and activities.
  • Perform regular training at wholesaler/distributor branches & to installers.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English (essential).
  • Proven track record of working within a wholesaler/distributor network.
  • Experience in either HVACR, construction, air conditioning, building materials sectors.
  • Independent worker who is confident in using their own initiative.
  • Strong commercial insight.
  • Proven track record of training and sales to a wholesaler/distributor network.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (anticipate 75% of time in the field).
