Project Procurement Leader

Overview

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in project execution and vendor management? We’re looking for a Project Procurement Lead to support complex industrial projects and ensure successful package delivery from purchase order to completion.

• Ensure package delivery meets quality, cost, and schedule objectives
• Monitor progress through project milestones and proactively raise alerts on risks (schedule, cost, quality, contractual)
• Perform final package handover and close-out
• Act as main interface with vendors during execution
• Ensure vendor activities align with project priorities
• Promote vendor quality awareness and ensure compliance with Quality Control Plans (QCP)
• Monitor vendor documentation and ensure timely submission, review, and approval
• Evaluate and rate vendor performance
• Adapt standard Quality Control Plans (QCP) to project needs
• Support contract management and vendor claims with Project Buyer
• Conduct root cause analysis in case of quality issues and define corrective actions with vendors
• Provide continuous feedback to Vendor, Category, and Sourcing Managers
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Project Procurement Manager, Buyers, Vendor Managers)
• Report package progress throughout the project lifecycle
• Support cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth execution

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical procurement
• Proven track record managing procurement packages or categories
• Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects is strongly preferred
• Exposure to package engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and commissioning is a plus
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
• Knowledge of quality control, contract management, and project execution
• Ability to manage risks and drive corrective actions
• Leadership mindset with proactive approach
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Flexible and adaptable in dynamic project environments
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
