An aircraft engine manufacturer for over 110 years, Safran Aircraft Engines designs, develops, produces and markets, alone or in cooperation, engines for civil and military aircraft.

Within the Industrial Excellence Center for Dressing and Equipment, you will join the Seals Design Office.

You will be responsible for carrying out design activities for static or dynamic sealing solutions. Your main mission will therefore consist of designing, modeling, contributing to technological studies, and performing technical analyses by calculations or analytical reconciliation to meet various technical justifications and resolve non-conformities on seals.

In this context, your main activities will include:

  • Organizing, coordinating, and ensuring the achievement of objectives, activities, and deliverables,
  • Managing designers and calculators, taking into account the workload/capacity of each,
  • Being the privileged interface between the design office and other sectors (industrial, purchasing, internal clients, suppliers, service providers, etc.),
  • Ensuring the economic management of projects,
  • Ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and exploitation of subcontracting work.

Your activities will concern projects such as definition changes, partial tests, and technical support for the company's mature engines.

Required computer skills:

  • CATIA,
  • Ansys Workbench and/or Abaqus,
  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project.

You have a Bac+5 engineer degree with a mechanical specialization, you have a strong taste for technology and skills in:

  • Project and budget management,
  • Design of mechanical systems,
  • Knowledge of solid mechanics as well as FE calculations.

Knowledge of turbomachinery, tribology, and fluid mechanics would be highly appreciated.

You are autonomous, curious, rigorous, have good analytical skills, and good interpersonal skills.
