Parlons de votre future mission

Within the Engineering Design Division of the Technical Directorate, you will join the High-Pressure Compressor (civil & military) and Low-Pressure Compressor (military) service, which ensures the design and integration of compressors in development and in service.

Reporting to the head of the civil compressor integration unit, you will act as the mechanical & kinematic integration engineer for civil engines in development and in service, as well as for R&T test machines.

As such, your main mission will be to lead and carry out mechanical or kinematic studies to validate the structural integrity and behavior of a part, the compressor module, or one of its sub-systems. This involves various activities:

  • Performing 3D and 2D finite element mechanical calculations (overall dynamic load resistance, lifetime calculations),
  • Performing kinematic behavior law calculations with rigid or deformable parts,
  • Performing axial and radial flexibility calculations of structural casings,
  • Ensuring the pre-sizing and sizing of parts and the compressor module,
  • Participating in technological choices (e.g., via scorecards),
  • Managing external intellectual services (specifications, calls for tender, technical monitoring, etc.),
  • Preparing summaries or presentations of technical results during validation reviews or technical audits.

In addition, the position requires contributing to the support of manufacturing, assembly, and test monitoring activities for parts within the scope during partial and engine test campaigns.

Mais encore ? (avantages, spécificités, …)

Some of what we offer you:

  • A work-life balance: telework agreement, RTT, conventional leave (seniority medals, sick children), parenting guide, support for caregivers, and well-being initiatives.
  • Attractive compensation: 13th month salary, employee savings, profit-sharing and participation with company matching.
  • Safety and health: family health insurance and provident fund, strengthened prevention program to ensure everyone's safety, on-site medical service.
  • Green mobility: Safran shuttles, partial reimbursement of transport subscriptions, carpooling scheme.
  • A working environment designed for you and mindful of our environment: social works with social and economic committees, disability-friendly site, reduced-price company restaurants, electric charging stations, on-site gym, concierge service, ticketing, competitively priced travel.
