Network Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Field Network Engineer to perform on-site troubleshooting and restoration of wireless access points at a retail location in Villefontaine, France. The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing connectivity issues, checking cabling, and coordinating with remote support teams if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and restore down Access Points (APs)
• Inspect and verify cabling from the switch side
• Perform basic network diagnostics and connectivity checks
• Coordinate with remote support teams if necessary
• Ensure work is completed within the given time window

Required Tools

• Laptop
• Console cable
• LAN cables
• Cable tester
• 6m ladder (mandatory)

Requirements

• Experience in network support or field IT services
• Knowledge of wireless access points and basic networking
• Ability to handle on-site troubleshooting independently
• Must be available within the given time window
