We evolved from a simple product that invests spare change in bitcoin to a crypto-native bank that helps users save, spend, and grow money. We serve 300K+ users and are focused on rebuilding finance to empower financial freedom in a more open and inclusive system. The Role

Bitstack’s engineering team builds the technology platform powering our mission. We focus on infrastructure that makes it easy to write secure, efficient, and well-tested software. We ship incrementally and deploy daily.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with a growing Engineering and Product team
• Drive new initiatives with a willingness to challenge the status quo to push the product forward
• Build a well-tested and performant app that communicates with Bitstack’s other infrastructure
• Breathe life into industry-leading User Interfaces
• Ship high quality, scalable, reliable products in a production environment
• Unit test everything
• Work in a highly compliant environment and contribute to the larger Bitcoin ecosystem
• Contribute to the broader tech and open source communities

Tech Stack

• Backend: Go, Python
• Frontend: Flutter, Dart, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Databases: SQL (basic DBMS knowledge)

What We're Looking For

• You’ve got experience scoping, designing, delivering and supporting projects from end to end
• Experience shipping multi-platform applications with Flutter or other mobile frameworks with complex state management and emphasis on security
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and mobile application lifecycles
• Understanding integration testing frameworks for Flutter or React Native
• Understanding accessibility on mobile devices
• Deep understanding of Git workflows and automation
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to self-manage and take ownership of projects
• Fluent English (French is a bonus)

Interview Process

• Introductory Call (20 min): An initial conversation with our recruiter to get to know you better and share more details about the role, the team, and how we work at Bitstack
• System Design (60 min): Discussion on approach to problem-solving, communicating ideas, and prioritizing decisions to assess technical depth and system design ability
• Take Home Task & Task Review (60 min): Practical task to complete in your own time, followed by a review call to discuss your solution and thought process
• Behavioural Interview (60 min): Conversation about experiences, decision-making, collaboration style, and real-world scenarios
