Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Ensure planogram integrity and deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask to add value.
• Provide excellent shopping experiences that differentiate from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and self-directed work ethic.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and promotion of a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel and lift/move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate store equipment and access all areas of the store.
• Physical stamina to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely.
