Media Buyer and Planner
Mission
Join us as Media Buyer and Planner to build and own Qonto's brand awareness strategy across Southern Europe, starting with Italy and Spain. You'll take end-to-end ownership of upper funnel media — planning, budgeting, and executing across online and offline channels — working closely with Teresa Harbeck, our Head of Paid Acquisition, to make Qonto the go-to financial partner for SMEs.
What you'll do
- Own Southern Europe's media strategy, Italy first: Build and drive the annual media plan across online and offline channels (TV, OOH, audio, social), allocating a €4–6M budget where it creates the most brand impact.
- Run offline campaigns end-to-end: Brief and coordinate our external media agency for TV and OOH buys, ensuring campaigns land on brief, on budget, and on time.
- Execute online campaigns in-house: Plan and manage paid social placements (Meta and beyond), coordinating with the performance team to keep upper and lower funnel aligned.
- Build the Southern Europe media operating model: Partner with local Brand stakeholders to align creative, channel, and market timing — evolving into the strategic media point of contact for Italy and Spain.
- Report, learn, and sharpen plans: Track campaign performance across video, audio, and awareness channels, turning learnings into better allocations each cycle — using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting.
What we're looking for
- You have at least 5 years of experience, you've built and managed media plans across online and offline channels (TV, OOH, video, audio, social) — not just executed tactics, but owned the strategy.
- Budget management at scale: You've allocated and optimised multi-million media budgets, with strong instincts for where spend creates real brand impact.
- Hands‑on with digital platforms: You can independently set up and run paid social campaigns (Meta at minimum) and own the in‑house online layer without agency reliance.
- You are fluent in Italian and English , and you know the Italian media landscape.
- AI‑native way of working: You use AI tools to work faster and smarter — whether for competitive research, brief writing, or performance reporting.
