Lead Cabin FAL Interface F/M - A320 Family
Be the Heartbeat of the A320 Delivery
As a Lead Cabin FAL Interface (CFI) in the Airbus Procurement Operations team in Toulouse, you are the driving force between suppliers, production teams, and airline customers. You work on the Final Assembly Line (FAL), ensuring the A320 is delivered on time and meets the highest quality standards.
Your Mission
Act as the vital link between the Cabin Supply Chain and the Final Assembly Line, managing all cabin supplier activities for your assigned aircraft to hit critical milestones from Cabin Fit‑Check to Handover.
Operational Excellence & Supplier Management
- Coordinate on‑site teams: direct supplier support teams to react immediately to issues.
- Resolve roadblocks: solve operational constraints and manage non‑conformity items until closure.
- Prioritize: align supplier activities strictly with FAL milestones.
- Escalate: use the SQCDP board to raise critical issues and implement rapid solutions.
Supply Chain Security
- Manage critical parts: monitor short‑term missing parts, provide accurate “On Dock Dates” (ODD) and keep the FAL leadership informed.
- Mitigate risk: trigger long‑term risk management strategies with Supply Chain Quality Managers.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
- Drive solutions: identify repetitive issues and initiate Practical Problem Solving (PPS) procedures.
- Collaborate: feed operational realities to internal customers and support the liability process for non‑conformities.
Who You Are
- Education: degree in Aeronautics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: background in Quality, Production or Supply Chain; project management experience is a strong asset.
- Personality: autonomous, customer‑oriented, true team player who stays calm under pressure.
- Technical Skills: familiarity with SAP (PEA, PAC) is highly valued.
- Languages: negotiation‑level English and advanced French.
