Our Paris team advises clients across a broad range of practice areas, including employment law, M&A, financing, venture capital, real estate, insurance, intellectual property, commercial litigation, international arbitration, tax, and restructuring and insolvency.
We are currently seeking a Junior Associate / Associate in Employment Law to join our Paris team and support the Partner in the continued development of the employment practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your employment law expertise within a strong and collaborative Employment Europe team. You will benefit from hands-on mentoring, international exposure, and the support of a well-connected global practice.
Responsibilities
- Providing advisory support on individual and collective labour relations matters for an international client base
- Assisting with sensitive, complex and strategic employment law issues
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, legal opinions, correspondence, timelines, financial estimates and audit materials
- Supporting and handling employment-related litigation matters
- Contributing to cross-border cases in collaboration with international offices
- Participating in marketing and business development initiatives to support practice growth
- Developing client relationships over time and contributing to the growth of the team and client base
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- CAPA (French Bar qualification) and a master’s degree (Master 2), preferably in Employment Law
- 0–2 years’ experience, ideally gained in a business law
- Fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English, including legal terminology
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
Desirable
- Previous experience in employment law advisory
- Interest in international or cross-border matters
- Strong motivation, engagement and willingness to develop within a growing employment practice
