IT Support Engineer
Interpath – Paris, France.
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT function in Paris. This highly visible on‑site role acts as the primary IT support presence within the Paris office. You will be the first point of contact for users, ensuring a seamless technology experience and providing hands‑on support across devices, systems, and workplace technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site IT support to users within the Paris office as the first point of contact for all IT issues and requests
- Deliver fast and effective first‑line resolution, minimising escalation where possible
- Own the end‑to‑end onboarding experience for new joiners, ensuring all devices, access, and systems are fully set up from day one
- Support and maintain end‑user devices, meeting room technology, collaboration tools, and office IT equipment
- Log, manage, and update incidents and service requests through ITSM tools in line with agreed processes
- Build strong working relationships with local users and provide clear, professional communication at all times
- Collaborate with global Service Desk and Level 2/3 teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain and improve IT knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency of service
- Contribute to IT projects, rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Provide occasional travel support to other European offices as required (approx. 10%)
Education and Experience Required
- Proven experience in an on‑site or user‑facing IT support role within a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID user and access management
- Solid Windows OS troubleshooting skills and endpoint support experience
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and resolve issues end‑to‑end in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
Desirable
- Experience supporting enterprise applications (e.g. Salesforce, PDF tools, collaboration platforms)
- Exposure to ITSM tools and service management processes
- Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks
- Additional European language skills (German, Spanish, Italian)
