Position Overview
Medical Oncologist. Regular, Full-Time (1.0 FTE). Vernon, BC. Join one of the world's renowned cancer organizations. BC Cancer is looking for a Medical Oncologist to join its Vernon Clinic team, at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, located in British Columbia’s beautiful Southern Interior Region.
Responsibilities
- Work with a well-established small team of specialized medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals.
- Participate in clinical, educational, administrative, and research activities.
- Report to the Department Head of Medical Oncology at BC Cancer – Kelowna.
- Service contract and salary options are available.
Qualifications
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
