INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Montpellier, FR

Contract duration: initial 18 month contract - renewable

Start Date: ASAP

The mission

• Project Steering and Delegated Project Ownership (MOD) for the installation of a new production unit

Detailed scope of the Project Manager

• Ensure daily project management.
• Manage calls for tenders, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate activities between the various departments: engineering, procurement.
• Supervise the civil engineering, structural, and utilities work packages.
• Guarantee a smooth transition between concrete and steel works.

Deliverables

1. Final negotiation with suppliers; synthesis of the offer analysis
2. Finalized detailed Technical Specifications (CCTP) with the contractors
3. Monthly progress reports (Progress, Costs, Risks)

End of mission outputs and handover elements

• Complete As Built Documentation (DOE), detailed Lessons Learned (REX) on methods and suppliers.
• Financial closure of the projects and transfer of warranties.

Expected results

• Installation fully operational within the allocated budget and deadlines.

Seniority required for the position and specific expertise

• Senior profile (minimum 10 years of experience) in the construction of industrial sites.
• Required expertise in civil engineering and steel structures.
• Experience in quarries, mines, cement plants, or other heavy processing industries.
• Skills in project management (planning, budget) and in project ownership / project management (MOA/MOE).

Required certifications

• PMP or equivalent (project management).
• HSE certifications (such as MASE) for site supervision.
