We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tandoor/Tandoori Chef.

  • Lead all tandoor operations with precision and consistency
  • Execute classic dishes (tikkas, kebabs, naan) at a high standard
  • Maintain quality, timing, and hygiene in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
  • Lead menu development and innovate new culinary offerings to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workplace
  • Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and service standards
  • Monitor quality control throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize operational efficiency and customer experience

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills
  • Excellent team management and leadership abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant management practices and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with staff and customers
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or the food industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee kitchen operations from start to finish
  • Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Serving experience is a plus for understanding customer needs and enhancing service delivery

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
