The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This individual must have a passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain menus that reflect the restaurant's concept while meeting customer preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation is in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and manage kitchen staff including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques, recipes, ingredients, and safety procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Salary: USD $1400 per month, negotiable based on experience. City: Clairvaux. Flexibility to relocate preferred.
