HSE Advisor

Location: Cambrai, France Start Date: February 23 - Estimated completion: May 31.

For a large-scale EPC project in Cambrai (Nord department), we are looking for an experienced Advisor to elevate safety and quality standards on site.

Your Role

As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring safety on a complex construction site involving:

• Multiple assembly teams and cranes
• Concrete structures, prefabricated elements, civil and steel works
• Construction of a high-bay warehouse reaching up to 25 meters

You will work closely with project managers, conduct site inspections, prepare method statements and permits, investigate incidents, attend meetings with clients and subcontractors, and participate in site coordination meetings. You will also support quality control of the works.

Key Considerations

• French legislation : Knowledge of local safety regulations is essential (e.g., wooden railings are not permitted in France).
• Working hours : Long days - start at 6:30 AM, site opens at 7:00 AM, finish around 4:00/4:30 PM.

Profile

• Experience in HSE on construction sites
• Knowledge of French safety laws and regulations
• Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality, and stress resilience
