HR Generalist - Fixed Term Contract

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through its three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games.
What will you work on?
As an experienced HR Generalist on a maternity cover contract, you will provide essential support to employees and managers across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
How will you create impact?
- HR Operations: Manage day‑to‑day HR processes across the full employee lifecycle for designated EMEA countries, serving as the primary HR contact for employees and managers and ensuring consistent application of all procedures.
- Employee Relations – French Labour Law: Lead and manage day‑to‑day employee relations matters, applying strong knowledge of French labour law to handle contracts, disciplinary actions, and employee exits while escalating complex cases as needed.
- HR Data – Workday: Act as a Workday power user, owning all HR data to ensure accuracy and timeliness across all transactions, and supporting managers and employees with system‑related queries and reporting.
- Managerial Employee Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies, best practices, and daily people matters, while responding proactively to employee queries to ensure a positive and compliant employee experience.
- Cross‑Border Coordination: Partner with payroll, benefits providers, and local advisors across multiple countries to ensure seamless, accurate, and compliant HR service delivery for all cross‑border activities.
What are your skills and experience?
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist in an international or EMEA‑wide role.
- Solid expertise in French labour law.
- High proficiency with Workday.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong ability to work independently, manage a diverse workload, and support stakeholders across multiple countries.
- A pragmatic, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Experience in a matrix organisation.
- Familiarity with other EMEA labour laws.
This is a 6‑9 month fixed‑term contract for a maternity cover. Spin Master works in a hybrid model with 4 days per week onsite.
