Role Overview

As Manager Consultant Data & IA , you will be the big boss of our consulting team, overseeing a pool of Data & AI consultants, supporting their growth, ensuring delivery quality on client engagements, and acting as the technical expert of reference for pre‑sales and strategic missions.

Responsibilities

Team management

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Data & AI consultants, ensuring high‑quality delivery and team development.
• Own team performance, engagement, and retention.
• Structure career paths, skill development plans, and internal training.
• Drive recruitment of new consultants alongside the HR team.
• Ensure strong client satisfaction and delivery standards across all engagements.

Technical Expertise & Pre‑sales

• Act as the senior technical reference on Data & AI topics (data engineering, ML/AI, data platforms, GenAI, etc.).
• Participate in pre‑sales: qualify client needs, scope engagements, design technical solutions, defend proposals.
• Deliver expert missions directly for strategic clients.
• Stay ahead of market trends and position Selego's offering on the Data & AI market.

Required Profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a team management role.
• Proven expertise on the Data & AI market (data platforms, ML, cloud, GenAI, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to combine hands‑on technical delivery with people management.
• Comfortable in pre‑sales, client conversations, scoping, and proposal defense.
• Startup mindset: appetite for building something long‑term, taking ownership, moving fast, and thriving in a scale‑up environment.
• Leadership style that is caring, demanding, and fair to inspire and retain top consulting talent.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional English.
