The Opportunity

• We are partnering with a leading luxury packaging supplier, renowned for delivering innovative and high-quality solutions across the beauty and fragrance industry.
• This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the development of primary, secondary, and GWP packaging for some of the most prestigious global brands.
• You will sit at the intersection of innovation, technical development, and client partnership , leading a high-performing team and shaping the future of luxury packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Packaging Development team across multiple product categories
• Define and execute the packaging development strategy aligned with business growth and client needs
• Drive a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement

Packaging Development (Primary, Secondary & GWP)

• Oversee end-to-end development of packaging solutions (fragrance bottles, caps, closures, cartons, gift sets, promotional items)
• Ensure seamless transition from concept through to industrialisation and production
• Champion innovation in materials, sustainability, and design execution

Client Partnership

• Act as a senior technical partner to key luxury beauty and fragrance clients
• Translate brand vision into technically feasible, high-quality packaging solutions
• Support commercial teams in pitches, presentations, and strategic client discussions

Innovation & Sustainability

• Lead innovation pipelines across materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques
• Drive sustainability initiatives (eco-design, recyclability, reduction of materials)
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies

Technical & Operational Excellence

• Oversee feasibility, costing, and timelines for all development projects
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, production, and supply chain teams
• Ensure quality standards meet luxury expectations at every stage

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a senior packaging development role within luxury beauty, fragrance, or premium packaging
• Strong expertise across primary (glass, plastics, closures), secondary (cartons), and GWP packaging
• Experience working with or supplying to leading luxury brands
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industrialisation
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing technical teams
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance creativity, cost, and feasibility
• Passion for innovation, craftsmanship, and luxury standards
