Do you think this could be you? To pursue our ambitious vision, we are looking for a Head of Business Development (m/f). In this position, you will build and lead a team to capture commercial and funding opportunities, and drive cross-functional topics to scale the company.

You come with:

5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally within the space, aerospace, or deeptech sectors

Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams from the ground up

Strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and unbounded curiosity

Autonomy, and a willingness to be fully responsible for delivering results across multiple business functions

A willingness to mentor juniors, share the passion within the team, and provide strategic leadership on commercial topics

Professional level English; French and/or further languages are a strong plus

Ideally some experience managing complex B2B or B2G sales, including public tenders and grant applications

Responsibilities

  • Build, structure, and lead the business development function, recruiting and managing a high-performing team
  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy to grow revenue across Gama's product lines
  • Identify and engage design partners for new products, co-developing solutions that address market needs
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with institutional, commercial, and industrial stakeholders across the space ecosystem
  • Drive the full sales cycle for both commercial contracts and public funding opportunities
  • Contribute to financial planning and build a solid reporting framework, providing visibility to leadership and supporting fundraising activities and investor relations as needed
  • Support HR initiatives including workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy, and team culture development
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are integrated into product development
  • Develop Gama's presence within the European and international space community through events, conferences, and industry working groups

Qualifications
