Do you think this could be you? To pursue ourambitious vision, we are looking for a Head ofBusiness Development (m/f). In this position, youwill build and lead a team to capture commercialand funding opportunities, and drivecross-functional topics to scale the company.
Your mission will be to:
- Build, structure, and lead the businessdevelopment function, recruiting and managing ahigh-performing team
- Develop and execute the commercialstrategy to grow revenue across Gama's productlines
- Identify and engage design partners fornew products, co-developing solutions that addressmarket needs
- Establish and nurture strategicpartnerships with institutional, commercial, andindustrial stakeholders across the space ecosystem
- Drive the full sales cycle for bothcommercial contracts and public fundingopportunities
- Contribute to financial planning andbuild a solid reporting framework, providingvisibility to leadership and supportingfundraising activities and investor relations asneeded
- Support HR initiatives includingworkforce planning, talent acquisition strategy,and team culture development
- Collaborate with engineering, product,and operations teams to ensure customerrequirements are integrated into productdevelopment
- Develop Gama's presence within theEuropean and international space community throughevents, conferences, and industry working groups
You come with:
- 5+ years of experience in businessdevelopment, sales, or partnerships, ideallywithin the space, aerospace, or deeptech sectors
- Demonstrated ability to build and leadteams from the ground up
- Strong analytical skills, a proactiveattitude, excellent interpersonal skills, andunbounded curiosity
- Autonomy, and a willingness to be fullyresponsible for delivering results across multiplebusiness functions
- A willingness to mentor juniors, sharethe passion within the team, and provide strategicleadership on commercial topics
- Professional level English; French and/orfurther languages are a strong plus
- Ideally some experience managing complexB2B or B2G sales, including public tenders andgrant applications
