Global Medical Project Lead
We are seeking a Global Medical Project Lead to support the set‑up, implementation and coordination of existing and new projects within the Global Medical organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lead
- Develop project plans based on business needs, including deadlines and milestones.
- Monitor project execution to ensure delivery within agreed timelines and quality.
- Apply project‑management methodology and promote best practices.
- Identify stakeholders, key milestones and confirm delivery for each task and overall project.
- Participate in project design and planning of all operational activities, leading the set‑up of the project plan.
- Maintain project scope, timelines and budget.
- Identify risks and issues linked to delivery and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact, escalating when necessary.
- Develop metrics, track KPIs and KIIs where appropriate.
- Involve all stakeholders to maximise project impact, including Medical functions and cross‑functional teams.
Coordination of Business Activities
- Coordinate all business activities related to the project.
- Organise and execute all meeting aspects within the project scope.
- Provide clear communication and/or training to relevant stakeholders.
Contract Management
- Coordinate contracts and budgetary aspects when support is needed.
Coordination of New Asset Integration
- Develop the integration project plan in collaboration with the medical work‑stream lead.
- Monitor the execution of the plan and identify action plans with functional leads.
- Communicate delayed execution.
Transversal Activities Coordination
- Manage meeting agendas, speaker coordination, minutes and follow‑up actions for each project under scope.
- Serve as the Medical SharePoint technical expert.
- Contribute to MLT important presentation design and improvement.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Medical Affairs colleagues and cross‑functional partners at local and global levels.
- Coordinate global medical transformation projects with the Chief of Staff to the CMO and communicate deviations to the Medical Transformation Lead, proactively offering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
- Certification in Project Management.
- Strong project‑management experience.
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs a plus.
- Experience with budget and forecasting management.
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and other modern IT office software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Regular travel required.
- Fluency in English.
