Global Creative Operations Project Manager
The ideal candidate has solid experience managing projects within an in‑house creative team and a strong understanding of the consumer marketing process across both print and digital channels — from initial briefing through to final delivery.
In This Role, The Project Manager Ensures
- Effective and accountable project planning and management
- Proper control of scope, timelines, and budgets
- Seamless execution across all assigned workstreams
Planning
- Partner with Marketing teams to support project initiation, scoping, and budgeting
- Build realistic budgets, timelines, and project plans
- Provide regular and accurate project status updates
- Liaise with cross‑functional teams to define project specifications and schedules
- Identify and assess project risks on an ongoing basis, escalating when necessary
- Monitor out‑of‑scope requests and scope changes; initiate revised estimates and secure approvals
Coordination
- Prioritize and oversee project workload and execution
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Creative, Marketing, GBSC, Sales) to define guidelines, specifications, and timelines
- Ensure all consumer marketing materials are tracked and delivered to their final destination
- Monitor budgets and production activities; proactively communicate risks, issues, and needs to stakeholders
- Manage all stages of internal and external approvals (copy, scripts, layouts, artwork, assets, mechanicals, translations, proofs, and print samples)
- Maintain up‑to‑date project tracking and reporting
- Coordinate media asset delivery to external vendors (with or without agency support)
Project Management
- Lead assigned projects end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery on time and within scope
- Partner with the Director and/or Program Manager to align timelines across broader programs
- Ensure quality control by reviewing deliverables against project scope and standards
- Oversee asset management from sourcing through to final delivery
- Initiate and lead all relevant project meetings
- Actively contribute to Creative Operations and Creative Department meetings
- Participate in marketing and cross‑functional status meetings as required
- Collaborate closely with external vendors (retouchers, publishers, color houses, printers, binderies) to ensure timely delivery and quality of final outputs
Financial & Administrative
- Track and manage all internal and external project costs
- Create and maintain all project documentation (status reports, purchase orders, estimates, schedules, change orders, technical and production specifications, pre‑production materials, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships, including PO creation and budget tracking (actual vs. planned)
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely vendor billing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or Broadcast Production
- Strong interest in and understanding of creative marketing production
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or Traffic Manager in an agency, in‑house, or production environment
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to continuously learn and grow
- Experience defining and negotiating project scopes and budgets with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Fluent in both French and English
