The Global Institutional FX Department provides institutional clients with comprehensive foreign exchange execution, hedging, and risk management solutions across global markets. The business focuses on delivering transparent FX services supported by Marex’s strong balance sheet, market access, and global infrastructure.

Role Summary

Senior FX & FX Derivatives specialist responsible for a portfolio of products. Works autonomously and collaboratively, engaging directly with clients to maintain relationships and bring additional flow. Must demonstrate commercial acumen and ability to grow client base.

Responsibilities

• Deal in FX emerging markets and FX derivatives products.
• Correspond directly with clients, including banks, corporates, central banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional investors and trading houses.
• Assist onboarding of new clients and maintain existing relationships, supporting colleagues as required.
• Work efficiently, assist in preparing new frameworks.
• Collaborate with central operations functions such as Operations and Technology.
• Strategise to increase P&L through market and product analysis.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and other relevant governing bodies.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a role model for integrity, conduct and Company Values.
• Comply with the regulator’s Code of Conduct.
• Carry out regulatory activities under Marex Financial, Marex SA and MSIL trading books.
• Liaise with clients in US, UK, France, wider EMEA and APAC.
• Maintain awareness of and adhere to internal policies relevant to your role.
• Report policy breaches to Compliance or supervisor as required.
• Escalate risk events immediately.
• Provide input to risk management processes.

Skills and Experience

• Analytical skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial services markets and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with FX derivatives products, including emerging markets.
• Knowledge of the infrastructure required to support institutional clients.
• Experience in a regulated environment and understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
