Role

In search of the ideal profile :

As Commercial Agent for the DACH Region , you will be Eight & Bob's independent representative in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, responsible for driving commercial development and brand expansion across these strategic markets.

You will work autonomously under a commercial agency model, leveraging your deep market knowledge and established network within the niche and luxury perfumery sector to position Eight & Bob as a reference in the ultra-premium segment.

This role requires proven experience in the niche perfumery industry, established relationships with key points of sale, strategic vision and the ability to generate business opportunities in demanding markets.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Development: Identify, contact and open new selective points of sale: niche perfumeries and premium department stores and specialized retailers across France.
  • Network Leverage: Utilize your established contacts and relationships within the luxury perfumery sector to accelerate Eight & Bob's market penetration in France.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate commercial agreements with key retailers, ensuring terms aligned with the brand's ultra-premium positioning and distribution strategy.
  • Brand Representation: Act as Eight & Bob's ambassador to commercial partners and industry stakeholders throughout the region.
  • Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with opened points of sale, ensuring excellence in brand presentation, training of sales teams and point-of-sale execution.
  • Activations & Events: Coordinate and participate in brand launches, events and local activations in collaboration with Eight & Bob's global marketing team.
  • Market Insights & Reporting: Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and commercial KPIs tracking to Eight & Bob's central team.
  • Industry Presence: Represent Eight & Bob at key industry events and strengthen brand visibility within the niche perfumery community in France.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory niche perfumery experience: Proven track record working in sales teams within the niche and luxury fragrance sector, with deep understanding of the selective perfumery market dynamics.
  • Established network in France: Active and robust contact base within niche perfumery retail, concept stores, premium department stores and specialty retailers across France.
  • Commercial development expertise: Minimum 4+ years of proven success in business development, key account management or sales leadership roles within the niche perfumery or luxury beauty sector.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-starter with autonomy, ownership mentality and hands-on approach to building markets.
  • Strong negotiation skills: Excellent commercial judgment and ability to close strategic partnerships aligned with brand positioning.
  • Brand sensitivity: High awareness of brand image, storytelling and point-of-sale excellence in the luxury segment.
  • Strategic & tactical execution: Ability to understand and execute within Eight & Bob's global brand framework while adapting to local market needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Strong communication abilities and relationship-building capabilities with retail partners and stakeholders.
  • Language proficiency: Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly within France to meet clients, attend events and oversee point-of-sale execution.
