Purpose

As Floatel Coordinator you manage the day-to-day operations and logistics of the floatel accommodations for offshore personnel. You ensure the efficient coordination of services, safety, and compliance with company policies, providing a high standard of living conditions for all personnel on board. You play a critical role in ensuring smooth personnel logistics, safety awareness, and coordination onboard the Accommodation Supply Vessel (ASV), working closely with the Floatel Manager and Safety Officer to promote safety standards and manage personnel accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • You conduct comprehensive safety inductions for all new arrivals on the ASV, covering muster points, emergency response procedures, and FPSO interaction.
  • You coordinate accommodation and travel logistics for all project personnel on the ASV, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • You serve as the focal point for Personnel On Board (POB) logistics, coordinating with both the client and on-site operations for effective personnel management.
  • You maintain an updated POB plan, working with the ASV Hotel Manager for accurate cabin allocations and scheduled personnel movements.
  • You work closely with the OPS Planner to ensure all offshore personnel rosters and related documents are current and accessible.
  • You oversee issuance of ASV swipe cards and manage POB transfer tracking, enhancing the safety and accountability of personnel movements.
  • You support the Floatel Manager by preparing and distributing meeting correspondence and reports, including daily POB reports.

Education

  • Good level of secondary education in Admin, HR, logistics, account...
  • Valid offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET) is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore logistics including POB planning on offshore installation project, accommodation vessels, or a similar role in the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of offshore operations, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Proven experience in coordinating large-scale accommodation facilities, preferably in an offshore or remote environment.
  • Experience in multicultural international offshore installation & commissioning projects.
  • Experience with accommodation management software.
