Chartering Manager

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Chartering Manager to support major international offshore energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all chartering activities related to marine transportation of project equipment, materials and offshore assets, ensuring safe, cost-effective and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead vessel chartering activities for offshore projects
• Prepare and manage tender processes for marine transportation services
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vessel owners and marine contractors
• Develop chartering strategies aligned with project requirements
• Review commercial offers, contracts and charter party agreements
• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Logistics, Marine Operations and Project teams
• Monitor vessel availability, market conditions and transportation risks
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets and HSE requirements
• Support project execution phases and resolve transportation-related issues

Requirements

• Degree in Marine, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline
• Significant experience in offshore vessel chartering and marine logistics
• Strong knowledge of offshore transportation and marine operations
• Experience managing tenders and contract negotiations
• Familiarity with BIMCO contracts and charter party agreements is a plus
• Previous experience within Offshore Oil & Gas, Subsea, Renewables or Marine Construction projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
