Financial Controlling Analyst Apprentice (H/F)

Within the Specialties Business Unit, you will support the Finance team in performance monitoring and cost analysis, while developing your understanding of business controlling in an industrial environment.

You will progressively contribute to financial analysis and reporting, gaining exposure to key business and finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring

• Support monthly and quarterly reporting
• Update KPIs (Sales, EBITDA, costs, volumes)
• Contribute to variance analysis (Budget / Forecast / Last Year)
• Assist in budget and forecast data consolidation

Cost & Operational Analysis

• Support analysis of production and purchasing costs
• Track SG&A and R&D expenses
• Assist with cost of goods calculations and inventory analysis
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency

Business & Tools Support

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis
• Prepare materials for meetings and business reviews
• Improve Excel reports and dashboards
• Contribute to data quality and process improvements

Profile & Requirements

• Master’s student in Finance, Controlling, or Business
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good Excel skills (SAP/BI is a plus)
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
• Good communication skills and professional English

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: €1,086 to €2,400 gross/month (depending on level)
• Transport allowance, company restaurant, CSE benefits
• Profit‑sharing scheme
• 1 day remote work per week
