This opportunity is offered under the V.I.E. (Volontariat International en Entreprise) programme, an international graduate scheme managed by Business France. The programme enables young professionals from the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) to gain international work experience through a full‑time, fixed‑term overseas assignment within leading global organisations.

We're thrilled to announce the opening for a Business Analyst (VIE), reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. In this role, you will support end‑to‑end financial and commercial performance processes—from management reporting and business performance analysis to wholesaler depletion management, sales activity support, and contract/FTT oversight. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross‑functional teams, you will deliver accurate reporting, support forecasting cycles, enhance Power BI tools, and maintain key financial controls. Your contribution will play a critical role in strengthening data‑driven decision‑making, improving process efficiency, and elevating the quality and reliability of financial insights across the organisation.

How you will contribute…

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Management Reporting

  • Prepare a range of daily, weekly, and monthly reports that align to sales and financial analysis for the business.
  • Perform analysis on performance, vs forecast and prior year to identify causes of variances.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing reports needed by management for key business milestones (Budget planning, Sales Forecasting and Phasing, Sales Team Efficiency, Sales Channel and Outlet Performance, Trade and Marketing Investment analysis).
  • Lead collaboration with Marketing team to ensure robust reporting, tracking and monitoring actual and Year‑to‑Go expenses.
  • Maintain standard financial reports in shared database.

Business Performance Management

  • Support sales volumes and revenue plan and forecast by coordinating with Sales and Marketing team.
  • Be the Finance point of reference for Private Client channel, supporting with various analysis and forecast, preparation of P&L.
  • Monitor products under strict allocation across different distribution channels as per forecast.
  • Support the FP&A team with the forecast process and system uploads during forecast periods.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of MS Power BI tool for Sell‑in / Sell‑Through / Inventory in Trade.

COMMERCIAL FINANCE

Wholesaler Depletion Management & Process

  • Ensure process & procedure are in place to manage sell‑in and sell‑through, which covers the roles and responsibilities, scope, key brands/SKU, customers, channels, and cut‑off process on data collection.
  • Ensure the quality of depletions data received is robust enough to provide meaningful market demand signals with the coordination of wholesaler stock take and to support in the resolution of any reconciling items or discrepancies.
  • To perform sell‑in/sell‑out and stock‑in‑trade reconciliation and take actions accordingly to settle discrepancies with the wholesalers.

Sales Activity Support

  • Manage pricing to customers including price list updates, system updates and monitoring exceptions.
  • Responsible for management of the trade price by sales channel.
  • Responsible for the overall administration of the sales management tool including regular KPI reporting and evaluation.
  • Responsible for monitoring and communication of sales target achievement for Sales team.

Contract & Funds‑To‑the‑Trade (FTT) Management

  • Administer commercial contract management processes including logging/tracking of funds to trade and A&P commitments according to customer performance.
  • Assist in the FTT settlement process – validation of payments to customers.
  • Act as a point of reference to commercial team for enquiries on contract lifecycle management (CLM).

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure Internal Control procedures are integrated and streamline business process where appropriate.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business‑related disciplines
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
  • Good business and financial acumen
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence & Data Analysis tools (e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, SQL) would be a plus
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written), preferred for effective engagement with stakeholders.
