The exact deliverable depends on the assignment. It can involve a model or forecast, a statement-analysis example, a budget comparison or an explanation of a financial variance. The common requirement is a traceable account of the analyst’s reasoning, with assumptions and uncertainty stated clearly.

Professional experience in financial modeling and forecasting, financial-statement analysis, and budgeting and variance analysis is required.
