Finance Controller - Capex

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of France’s highest profile manufacturing plants as Envision AESC is building a new battery manufacturing plant in Douai, Hauts-de-France to support its business growth in Europe. We are looking for a finance controller to join Envision AESC France team to support the battery plant operation and development of a new world-class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory.

Key responsibilities

• Deeply understand the plant Capex request from business and accompany business to go through validation process
• Build up Capex budget visibility together with project director
• Monitor project delivery status to ensure effective budget control
• Responsible for fix assets and spare parts recognition, counting, depreciation and disposal
• Work from accounting to transfer CIP to fix asset
• Help business set up IT system for asset management

Experience and skills

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting. CMA/CPA preferred
• 3 + years of experience in finance and accounting area, with at least 2 years controlling experience
• Experience to master complex asset in a company is strongly preferred
• Fluent in French and English.
• You will be results driven with analytical capability and the ability to innovate and simplify current process and practices.
• You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment.
