The Opportunity
We are working with a major international professional services and advisory firm that is investing significantly in the continued growth of its IFRS and Financial Accounting Advisory capabilities in France .
The firm is looking for a commercially minded senior professional to help lead, develop and grow its IFRS and Accounting Advisory business in Paris .
This opportunity could suit an established Partner or Managing Director , but equally a high-performing Director with strong commercial capability who is ready to take the next step into Partner-level leadership .
You will have the opportunity to build senior client relationships, develop new propositions, influence the direction of the practice and work alongside colleagues across France and the firm's international network.
Why This Opportunity?
- Opportunity to shape and grow an established IFRS and Financial Accounting Advisory offering .
- Equity participation alongside a highly competitive senior compensation package.
- Strong existing relationships with CAC 40, listed and major international organisations .
- Significant autonomy to originate business, develop propositions and build teams .
- International platform with opportunities to collaborate on complex cross-border assignments.
- A genuinely entrepreneurial and collaborative culture .
- No-elbows mentality , with an emphasis on collective success rather than internal competition.
- Less bureaucracy and greater freedom to develop ideas and execute them .
- Opportunity for a commercially successful Director to make the step into Partner-level leadership .
The Role
The successful individual will help develop senior client relationships and lead sophisticated accounting and financial reporting engagements.
Depending on your background, this could include:
- IFRS conversion and transition
- Implementation and interpretation of new IFRS accounting standards
- Analysis and simulation of IFRS impacts on financial statements and KPIs
- Technical accounting advisory

Who We Are Looking For
We are interested in senior professionals currently operating within a Big Four firm, major accounting and advisory organisation, leading consulting firm or specialist financial accounting advisory business .
You could currently be a:
- Partner
- Managing Director
- Director with strong sales and business development capability
The critical requirement is the ability to combine deep IFRS expertise with commercial leadership .
You should have:
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting advisory .
- Experience advising large, complex organisations on accounting and reporting matters.
- A proven ability to originate, sell and grow advisory engagements .
- Senior relationships with major French organisations, ideally including CAC 40 or other large listed businesses .
- The credibility to engage with CFOs, Group Finance Directors, Heads of Accounting, Consolidation leaders and other senior finance stakeholders .
- Experience leading teams and complex client engagements.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an ambition to help grow a significant advisory business.
- A collaborative leadership style and a preference for an environment with limited internal politics.
This is not purely a technical IFRS position.
The firm is particularly interested in individuals who can combine strong accounting expertise with the ability to develop senior relationships, identify opportunities and originate new business .
You do not necessarily need to be an established Equity Partner today. A strong Director who has already demonstrated commercial capability and is ready to build their own business could be particularly relevant.
The Next Step
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected international organisation while retaining the entrepreneurial freedom and influence normally associated with a smaller advisory firm .
You will have the opportunity to shape the practice, develop major client relationships, build teams and participate in the value you create through an attractive equity model .
If you are currently operating at Director, Managing Director or Partner level and would be interested in discussing the opportunity confidentially, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
