About the role

This role is centered on enhancing the utilization of the Agent API within the developer ecosystem. You will act as a liaison between external developers and internal product teams, promoting engagement and enhancing the overall developer experience. The position integrates aspects of web development, education, technical marketing, and user experience to create a comprehensive approach to developer relations.

What you'll do

• Engage with the technical community on platforms such as Discord, responding to inquiries and gathering product feedback to inform improvements.
• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure that API documentation is user-friendly, integration guides are up-to-date, and code samples are operational.
• Develop high-quality technical demonstrations and DevRel initiatives tailored for enterprise clients, facilitating a better understanding of product integration.
• Collect user feedback to pinpoint challenges and relay these insights to product and engineering teams, helping to shape the development roadmap.
• Conduct interviews with developers to create user personas and share valuable insights with the Product Marketing Manager.
• Organize and facilitate hackathons and meetups, while also representing hcompany at external developer-focused events.
• Contribute to product launches from a developer's perspective and assist in conducting competitive analyses to inform strategy.
• Foster a vibrant developer community by creating engaging content and resources that encourage ongoing interaction and learning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar roles within a technical product environment, such as APIs, SDKs, or developer tools platforms.
• Proficiency in reading and writing integration examples in programming languages like Python or JavaScript; familiarity with agent or orchestration frameworks is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical communities on platforms like Discord or forums, along with public speaking experience at conferences or meetups.
• Exceptional written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• A genuine passion for agentic AI, computer usage, and autonomous agents, reflecting a commitment to the field.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment, showcasing strong initiative and the ability to collaborate across various functions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a software engineer, providing a solid technical foundation.
• Prior involvement in a Developer Relations role, enhancing your understanding of the landscape.
• Experience in building or actively participating in a developer community, demonstrating your engagement with the developer ecosystem.
• Ability to independently source product information, particularly from platforms like GitHub.
• A builder mindset, with experience in coding and utilizing AI for development purposes.
• Familiarity with developer tools and communication channels, including Discord, Cursor, Claude Code, MCP, Hermes, Reddit, GitHub community, and X.
• A strong grasp of developer communication styles and the appropriate tone of voice for various contexts.
• Proficiency in the French language is a plus, enhancing communication with local developers.

• This role is foundational, focusing on developer outreach for a rapidly expanding product, offering substantial ownership and impact.
• The team is small and collaborative, working closely with Product and Research teams to drive innovation.
• Based in Paris, this position offers opportunities for collaboration with teams located in London and across Europe.
• The hiring process consists of an initial interview, a technical interview with an engineer that includes a use case discussion, a Team Lead interview, and a final interview to assess fit and alignment with company values.
