Position Salesforce Developer Client Name Michigan Department of Shared Solutions (CSS) Requisition Location Lansing,MI Duration 1 year Due Date 08/05/2026 C2C Possible Yes. Rate depends on experience Interview Method First round will be a 30 minute virtual interview that will focus on technical and soft skills and 2nd round will be in person and mostly technical.
NOTE: Candidates MUST be local to Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. Relocation not allowed. This requirement is non-negotiable. Resource must meet all these requirements from the beginning, This position requires in-office work Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In office days are mandatory and cannot be altered. On-site interview required. We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT. However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.
Description
Our client is looking for a Salesforce Developer to develop, design, and implement customizable solutions within Salesforce based upon CRM needs for the team.
Tasks
- Hands-on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows, including coding and delivering user stories
- Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
- Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
- Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
- Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
- Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.
- Collaborating with Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
- Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
- Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
- Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills Required
- Demonstrated hands on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle
- 6+ years - Strong Salesforce development experience
- 4+ years - Experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript
- 5+ years - Experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud
- 3+ years - Hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC
- 2+ years - Experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Skills Desired
- Experience with Conga and Drawloop
- Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
