Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Design and manage the GE Vernova Wind Offshore transportation and installation database using existing solutions or new ones as needed. Use this database, along with data collected in the field, to develop performance tracking models for assets used during the construction phases of our offshore wind farms. Support the planning of the mobilization and demobilization of our assets, as well as their return logistics.
  • Reporting to the Transportation and Installation Asset Manager, you will collaborate with regional onshore and offshore construction teams using the T&I solutions, IT teams, and other relevant departments to transform data into actionable insights, ensure proper tracking, and promote the continuous improvement of our assets.
  • This position is ideal for someone with excellent analytical skills, practical project management experience, and a strong drive for operational excellence.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable des missions suivantes :

  • Concevoir et gérer la base de données dédiée au transport et à l’installation (T&I) de GE Vernova Wind Offshore, en utilisant les solutions existantes ou en en développant de nouvelles si nécessaire. Exploiter cette base de données, ainsi que les données collectées sur le terrain, pour développer des modèles de suivi de performance des actifs utilisés durant les phases de construction de nos parcs éoliens offshore. Soutenir la planification des opérations de mobilisation et de démobilisation de nos actifs, ainsi que leur logistique de retour.
  • Rattaché(e) au Responsable des Actifs Transport & Installation, vous collaborerez avec les équipes de construction onshore et offshore utilisant les solutions T&I, les équipes IT, ainsi que d’autres départements concernés, afin de transformer les données en informations exploitables, d’assurer un suivi rigoureux et de promouvoir l’amélioration continue de nos actifs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Tableau dashboards and reports for training operations (e.g., volumes, utilization, on-time delivery, capacity vs. demand, learner outcomes).
  • Consolidate data from multiple systems (LMS, Certificate tracker) to create a single source of truth for training performance metrics.
  • Track KPIs for training operations and provide regular performance reviews to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decision-making on training strategy, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across training data sources.

Project Management

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects to optimize asset compliance and operations, including:
    • Direct follow-ups with field stakeholders, both internal and external.
    • Process standardization and automation.
    • Tool implementation or enhancement (LMS, scheduling, analytics tools).
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource estimates; monitor progress, risks, and issues, and drive timely resolution.
  • Facilitate collaboration across global and regional teams (Asset, Operations, Engineering, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver project updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and internal customer satisfaction within asset operations using data-driven insights.
  • Support demand and capacity planning for asset availability (forecasting, scenario analysis).
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation within the Transport and installation organization.

Qualifications / Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, engineering, business, operations management, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) in a data analytics, business intelligence, operations, or project management role; experience in an industrial or technical environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects end-to-end (from scoping to implementation and stabilization).

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development (required).
  • Strong skills in data analysis; experience with other visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Solid skills in Excel; experience with SQL or similar query languages is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with LMS or other enterprise systems.
  • Understanding data modeling, KPI design, and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical/analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving orientation and a high level of ownership.

Language

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • French is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Mechanical and/or electrotechnical engineering education and/or work experience.
  • Ability to work across multiple technical areas.
  • Ability and willingness to climb wind turbine generators and work at height as needed.
  • Availability to provide after-hour, weekend and holiday support as needed.
  • Ability to write well and explain tooling needs/requirements to project leadership and/or subcontractors.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Thoroughly understand all GE Vernova installation processes and procedures.
  • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Servicemax, or other standard business programs.
