Confirmed Accountant
Overview
What will your missions be? As part of the accounting team, you will support the finance department and hold a key position within the company by managing accounting and bookkeeping duties, covering financial risk and obligations of our subsidiaries, and performing administrative duties. You will work with the finance team and the operational team of Spendesk, and report directly to the accounting director. We are looking for someone to join our team from our Paris office.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closing process. You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance for all data, and build world-class processes to achieve quality closing within short delays, maximising analytics for the rest of the finance department.
- Ensure full compliance of Spendesk accounting data with local and global regulations, tax returns, VAT, income taxes, tax on salaries, and related obligations.
- Guarantee the best interaction with other departments to gather the best information, become a Spendesk expert of the platform, test new features, and help teams improve the solution.
Your profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver.
- Eager to grow and curiosity as a key quality.
- Great communication skills and strong written and oral presentation.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Knowledge of an ERP; NetSuite would be preferred, Spendesk experience is not mandatory.
- Autonomous and able to fully manage your scope.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to run analyses to understand financial data.
- Fluent in French and English.
