What will your missions be?

As part of the accounting team, you will have the opportunity to support the finance department and hold a key position within the company by managing accounting and bookkeeping duties by covering financial risk and obligations of our subsidiaries, and by performing administrative duties. You will work with the finance team and the operational team of Spendesk, and report directly to the accounting director. We're looking for someone to join our team from our Paris office.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closing process. You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance for all data, and build world-class process to achieve quality closing within short delays, maximizing analytics for the rest of the finance department.
  • You will ensure full compliance of Spendesk accounting data with local and global regulation, tax return, VAT, income taxes, tax on salaries and so on.
  • Guarantee the best interaction with others' department to gather the best information, and become a Spendesk expert of the platform, testing all new features and being able to help teams improving the solution.

Your profile:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting.
  • You are organized and have the capacity to prioritize tasks and get things done.
  • You are eager to grow and curiosity is one of your main qualities.
  • You have great communication skills and good written and oral presentation.
  • You have great adaptability skills - Spendesk is a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.
  • You have the knowledge of an ERP, NetSuite would be best, and Spendesk (not mandatory).
  • You are autonomous and fully manage your scope.
  • You have an analytical mind and run analysis to understand financial data.
  • You are fluent in French and English. As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
