Client Delivery Lead (Energy/Utilities experience)
Kraken is a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system, optimizing renewable generation and enabling utilities to provide excellent customer experiences.
You will be joining the client delivery team, supporting European clients through their technology transformation journeys.
Role Overview
The Client Delivery Lead has direct responsibility for managing a tech domain (billing, finance, comms, etc.) for client projects, either migration onto the Kraken platform or long‑term technology requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with client counterparts (product owners and business owners).
- Serve as the first point of contact for tech development and the escalation/resolution point with customers for domain/product issues.
- Act as the knowledge base for how Kraken works and how we deliver Kraken Platform.
- Triage incoming requests and communicate client priorities internally.
- Summarise and articulate client needs, considerations, and timelines internally to enable ongoing development of the Kraken platform.
- Support the engineering team to deliver product features.
- Challenge the client to think differently about tech development, encouraging continuous iteration and deployment.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor position based in Europe. Projects may be run from any country, and travel is expected.
We are a flat and agile organisation. Candidates should be self‑starter, comfortable with ambiguity, willing to roll up sleeves, and capable of owning outcomes across multiple viewpoints.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong client delivery and/or product ownership experience.
- Agile delivery experience.
- Experience in product management and customer journeys.
- Solid understanding of technology and associated trends.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional ways of thinking.
- Experience working with significant complex delivery pipelines for clients.
- Patience and initiative — ability to understand that client transformations take time.
- Time‑management and a get‑stuff‑done attitude.
- Consulting experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Previous experience in the electricity/utilities market in France is required.
