Child Psychiatrist

Key Points

• Applicable for EU (European Union) passport holders only.
• French on a professional level is mandatory.
• Mandatory registration with the Medical Council.
• Holder of a Diploma of Specialized Studies (DES) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Permanent Contract.

Responsibilities

• Medical monitoring of hospitalized young people (assessments, prescriptions, therapeutic plans, liaison between community and hospital services).
• Consultations at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center (CMP), working closely with families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Participation in the supervision of interns.
• Possibility of medical coordination of the mobile crisis team.
• Participation in on-call and standby duties at the CHSM (Centre Hospitalier Sud Martinique).
• Other tasks to be defined upon arrival, in consultation with the department.

Ideal Profile

• Knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatric care and current knowledge.
• Ideally, successful experience in the field.
• Motivation and interest in the mission and in teamwork.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and organized, with strong listening skills.
• French Professional level (mandatory).
