Key Responsibilities
Guest Service Management
- Act as the primary liaison between guests and crew, providing discreet, luxury-level service.
- Coordinate and oversee all guest experiences, including welcome arrangements, meal services, bar operations, entertainment, and events.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, ensuring personalized and seamless service delivery.
- Uphold five-star service standards across the yacht at all times.
Interior Operations
- Supervise housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe care, and floral/decor arrangements.
- Maintain the yacht’s interior to immaculate, hotel-level standards.
- Oversee provisioning for interior supplies, linens, toiletries, and décor.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Team Leadership & Training
- Manage and mentor an interior team of 6–8 (Stewardesses, Housekeeping Stews, and possibly a Purser).
- Conduct training on service styles, etiquette, and team coordination.
- Prepare and manage schedules, cleaning/service rotas, and crew performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented onboard culture.
Administrative & Financial Duties
- Handle budgeting and accounting for the interior department.
- Maintain inventories, provisioning lists, and purchase orders.
- Liaise with the Captain, Chef, and Engineer for smooth daily operations.
- Assist with crew uniform procurement and guest-related expenses tracking.
Requirements
Certification & Documentation
- Valid STCW (Basic Training 78/95–2010)
- Valid ENG1 medical certificate
- Seafarer visa (B1/B2 or Schengen as required)
- Silver Service or WSET (wine knowledge) certification desirable
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in the superyacht industry
- Proven experience as Chief Stewardess or 2nd Steward on 60m+ yachts
- Background in luxury hospitality (fine dining, boutique hotels, or cruise liners) an advantage
- Experience in both private and charter operations preferred
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of fine dining, wine, and cocktail service
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining five-star standards
- Ability to multitask under pressure with elegance and discretion
- Languages: fluent English (additional European languages an asset)
