At Sinay, we help the ocean industry operate more efficiently and sustainably through maritime data, analytics, and domain expertise built for at-sea environments.
We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to join Sinay's executive team.
Today, Sinay is entering a new phase of growth. The future CRO will build on strong existing foundations to help structure and scale the next stage of Sinay’s international commercial development .
The future CRO will help:
- structure and scale the commercial organisation, across three verticals: Fisheries, Offshore, and Trade
- build and scale commercial presence in strategic international markets
- strengthen GTM execution across multiple markets and business models
- accelerate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across solutions and verticals
- develop high-performing teams and managers
- and align commercial, technical, and operational stakeholders around clear priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead international commercial development across priority geographies
- Define and execute GTM strategy across our three verticals: Fisheries, Offshore, and Trade
- Drive sustainable revenue growth across existing and new markets
- Lead, structure and grow the commercial organisation
- Recruit, develop and support high-performing teams and managers
- Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to align market needs, product positioning, and commercial execution
- Strengthen forecasting, CRM discipline, and commercial processes
- Support complex enterprise and tender-driven sales cycles
- Contribute to strategic partnerships and growth initiatives
- Represent Sinay in high-level industry events and forums to strengthen brand visibility
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience opening and developing international markets
- Experience scaling organisations in growth-stage or evolving environments
- Strong enterprise sales experience in technical, complex or regulated industries
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including hiring, developing, and managing performance
- Experience operating across mixed commercial models (enterprise sales, tenders, services, PLG/SLG)
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence diverse stakeholders
- Ability to move quickly from strategy to execution
Preferred / Plus Requirements
- Maritime, offshore, environmental, industrial tech, or regulated market experience
- Experience selling solutions combining software, services, and/or hardware
- Tender / procurement experience
- Exposure to partnerships, M&A, or international market-entry strategy
