Channel Account Manager & Business Development
For our client, an international B2B player specializing in communication, security and mission‑critical solutions, we are looking for a Channel Account Manager & Business Development to accelerate market expansion in France.
This key role complements an existing Senior Channel Account Manager and focuses on business development, partner activation, new vertical markets and the promotion of new technologies, while contributing to the long‑term structuring of the French Channel ecosystem.

Our client is a Value‑Added Distributor of radio communication, wireless and security solutions, serving professional B2B customers exclusively through a selective indirect Channel model.
With more than 20 years of experience and a strong position in its historical markets, the group has recently launched its commercial operations in France. The French entity is now entering a growth acceleration phase, with clear priorities around:
- Expanding the Channel partner network
- Opening new vertical markets
- Driving adoption of innovative communication technologies
The organization is lean and agile, with a flat hierarchy, strong autonomy, and direct access to top management.
Your Mission
As Channel Account Manager & Business Development – France, you play a central role in driving business growth and market expansion, working closely with the CEO and in strong coordination with the Senior Channel Account Manager.
Your mission is to:
- Develop business through Channel partners and new market initiatives
- Generate demand and qualified leads for the partner ecosystem
- Accelerate adoption of new technologies and solutions
- Open and structure new vertical markets
- Contribute actively to the long‑term Channel strategy in France
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, onboard and manage Channel partners (integrators, VARs, distributors)
- Activate new partners, particularly within targeted vertical markets
- Act as a key operational contact for partners regarding opportunities and projects
- Support partners on customer projects
- Support partners on tenders and RFPs
- Support partners on demonstrations and solution presentations
- Contribute to partner enablement through training, field support and joint customer visits
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with end customers
- Generate leads for Channel partners through customer visits and targeted prospecting, events, trade shows and demos, market research and sector analysis
- Drive expansion into new verticals such as hospitality, transportation, retail, industry and critical infrastructure
- Promote strategic technologies and solutions (e.g. advanced communication platforms and ecosystems)
- Work in close alignment with the Senior Channel Account Manager (accounts and partner segmentation)
- Co‑define sales action plans and priorities with the CEO
- Monitor market trends and competitive positioning
What You Bring
- Confirmed experience in B2B sales, Channel sales or Business Development
- Solid understanding of indirect sales and distribution models
- Exposure to telecommunications, radio communications, IT or mission‑critical solutions
- Strong field‑sales and opportunity‑generation mindset
- Excellent relationship‑building and partner‑oriented approach
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team dynamic
- Entrepreneurial spirit, result‑driven and solution‑oriented
- Fluent French; professional English required (German is a plus)
- Willingness to travel extensively across France (approx. 50%)
- Ideally based in Alsace or able to commute regularly
