Which company will you be joining as a "Cargo Technician (M/F)"?
We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a "Cargo Technician (M/F)" with previous FPSO experience for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The position is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a 14x14 rotation. This opportunity is open to Brazilian nationals or professionals who are legally authorized to work in Brazil.
"Cargo Technician (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Position Summary
The Cargo Technician executes safe and efficient cargo operations and ensures compliance with international marine safety standards. Supports the Cargo Supervisor in loading/unloading, lifesaving equipment maintenance, and documentation of marine operations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute cargo transfer operations
Maintain lifesaving appliances
Support compliance with HSEQ-MS and IMO codes
Mandatory Trainings (R): CBSP, CESS, TICB, CERR, MCIA
What profile and skills are required for this "Cargo Technician (M/F)" role?
Requirements
Education: Maritime technical qualification (Deck Seaman, AB)
Experience: 5–8 years in offshore marine operations
Skills: Cargo handling, emergency response, marine safety
Language: Basic to intermediate English
Certificates: STCW, CBSP
