Overview

We are looking for a Business Process Owner (BPO) for the Systems Order Process, responsible for designing and governing the global end-to-end order creation process for robotic systems, cells, and engineered solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global system order creation process, including governance, roles, rollout, documentation, training, and continuous improvement using KPIs and feedback.
• Design a clear, consistent workflow for system order creation, ensuring order structures in S/4HANA mirror quotation outputs and align with project management structures.
• Support the design and enhancement of the order‑creation environment in S/4HANA and connected front‑end tools, validate functionality, and optimize integration.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to ensure order structures support robust project execution across regions.
• Define standards for order accuracy, completeness, and structure, approval flows, quality gates, and data requirements.

Background and Qualifications

• Experience in engineered‑to‑order, automation systems, or complex delivery environments.
• Understanding of how quotations, orders, BOM structures, and WBS/project structures align for efficient project execution.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA or SAP ECC order management, project systems (PS), or related ERP modules.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholder management across regions.
• Proficient process‑design and governance skills with documentation, training, and global roll‑out experience.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages.
