Your Mission

Within the Flight Operations Engineering department, you will act as a referent in the domain of ATR Flight Operations data, providing daily support on the activities of the team, supporting ATR aircraft design developments for enhanced operability, and supporting the ATR continued Airworthiness and Customer support team for safe and efficient ATR aircraft operations. You will conduct operational and technical studies contributing to the development of flight operations documentation.

  • Act as focal point for changes to flight ops documentation driven by aircraft design change
    • Plan and coordinate activities for the development and certification of Flight Ops documentation related to aircraft design changes
    • Perform impact assessment of aircraft design changes on Flight Operations documentation
    • Collect necessary input data from Design office, Flight Test, Training and Support departments to define content of changes
    • Conduct internal consultation/validation of changes
    • Write technical/operational dossiers to justify changes against Certification Specifications rules (CS) and ensure approval by certification authorities per Design Organization Approval (Part 21) rules
    • Engage responsibility as authorized signatory within the Design Organisation of ATR
    • Ensure documentation update in compliance with authoring rules, maintaining consistency across manuals and media (Electronic Check List) for all aircraft variants
    • Ensure documentation update in compliance with engineering production plan driven by entry into service of new design changes
  • Contribute to the operability of aircraft design
    • Provide support to Human Factors team for aircraft design or human factors evaluation via appropriate simulation means
    • Provide support to ATR design office in the flight operations domain
  • Act as focal point and MOD leader for 'Electronic Check List' updates
    • Plan and coordinate activities for development and certification of ECL
    • Ensure follow‑up of subcontracted activities
    • Ensure ECL update in compliance with planning of annual revisions of Flight Ops documentation and entry into service of new design changes

About You

  • Engineering degree, specializing in aeronautics
  • Knowledge required in aircraft operational documentation, flight operations and performance, ATR aircraft systems, aeronautics regulations (CS 25, Part 21) and airlines (AIR OPS rules), document production technologies (XML structured documentation)
  • Experience as a pilot (recommended)
  • Experience in human factors (recommended)
  • Fluent in English and French
  • IT skills: good proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Soft skills: rigorous, teamwork, leadership, communication skills
