Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Cockpit Displays & Warning System Designer (f/m) to join our System Cockpit & Avionics Platform Engineering Design department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing display and warning systems for our flagship aircraft, shaping the future of cockpit displays and warnings, advancing Autonomy and Automation, and integrating the latest technologies (Head Mounted Display, Tactile, Interactivities, etc.). You will collaborate with various teams including A/C Systems, Cockpit Operations, Human Factors, Pilots, and Flight Test Engineers.

As part of the Displays or Warning team, your responsibilities include system development, specifications, verification and validation, monitoring supplier activities, and supporting certification efforts.

Your challenges include:

• Contributing to functional requirements convergence at upstream levels
• Delivering technical specifications and system interface documents
• Driving development processes, supplier reviews, testing, and certification activities
• Promoting agile methodologies and efficient collaboration with stakeholders
• Supporting safety analysis

Your profile:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Interest in Cockpit or Avionics Systems development
• Knowledge of hardware/software design and IT
• Analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills
• Team-player with good collaboration skills
• Fluent in English
• Experience with collaborative tools (Confluence, Jira, Google Workplace) and Agile (SAFE) is a plus
