Responsibilities

• Contribute to all electrical systems integration activities related to a TC change, development project or MOD implementation from technical evaluation to certification.
• Act as focal point for all matters related to the installation of electrical systems.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in systems integration aspects (feasibility, space allocation, requirements compliance, regulatory constraints).
• Ensure technological and normative watch, create and approve rules and good practices, and support other actors.
• Update Technical Design Directives and plan development and verification & validation activities.
• Carry out concept studies and trade‑offs for electrical system installation.
• Contribute to the certification program and means of compliance; guarantee application of state‑of‑the‑art practices, airworthiness rules and flight safety.
• Support preparation and development of drawing sets of conceived parts together with designers.
• Propose and implement improvements in electrical system installation impacting weight, lead‑time and cost.
• Support technical needs for in‑service aircraft across the lifecycle (queries, issues, documentation updates).
• Support technical questions related to manufacturing and systems installation.
• Approve concessions on production aircraft or equipment.
• Contribute to continued airworthiness of the product.

Qualifications

• Degree in aeronautical engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in a similar position (electrical system installation).
• Deep knowledge of aircraft electrical systems installation practices, methods and technologies.
• Ability to verify compliance of detailed design solutions against validated baseline requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with ATR suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Team player in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment with changing priorities.
• Problem‑solving mindset and goal orientation.
• Proficient with CATIA V5 for 3‑D model creation & validation.
• Understanding of DMU product structure navigation.
• Knowledge of aircraft build processes and basic understanding of aircraft systems.
• Experience with PDM/VPM tools and CAD model integration.
• Knowledge of aeronautical regulations (Part 21, JAR/CS/FAR 25, EWIS, ARP‑4754, ARP‑4761).
• Knowledge of GILDA, SOLINS is welcome.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written French and English; conversational Italian appreciated.
