Position
Continued Airworthiness Referent – Engineering Directorate – 9 staff
Responsibilities
- Airworthiness Surveillance – collect, analyze, and assess all occurrences that may affect airworthiness or safety; report to authorities; conduct investigations to identify root causes and define corrective actions.
- Technical Coordination and Action Management – lead and coordinate activities involving ATR experts; define strategy for handling occurrences; monitor implementation of corrective actions on the in‑service fleet and on the Final Assembly Line (FAL).
- Authority Relationship Management – prepare, update, and present Airworthiness Review Sheets during Airworthiness Review Meetings; negotiate ATR’s positions with suppliers, partners and EASA; prepare AD proposals and support safety communications.
- Support to Operators and DOA Activities – respond to operators’ queries; prepare and validate DOA‑approved documents; contribute to operator conferences and Tech Connections.
- Support to Aircraft Deliveries and Commercial Campaigns – analyze and validate non‑conformities; support sales campaigns and foreign authority validations regarding continued airworthiness aspects.
Qualifications
- Aeronautical background.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a DOA technical department; at least 3 years in airworthiness.
- Minimum 2 years experience in classification of design changes, repairs, technical adaptations, or concessions.
- Knowledge of cabin and electrical installation systems (ATA25, ATA92) appreciated.
- Solid knowledge of aeronautical regulations (Part 21, Part M/Part CAMO).
- Good understanding of aircraft systems and certification/airworthiness processes.
- Experience in occurrence analysis, risk management, or technical investigation is a plus.
- Ability to work transversally with multiple areas of expertise.
- Rigor, sense of responsibility, strong safety orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency).
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ease interacting with authorities.
- Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus).
